| The National Theatre is central to the creative life of the country. In its three theatres on London's South Bank, the National presents an eclectic mix of new plays and classics, with seven or eight productions in repertory at any one time. |
NT Learning plays an integral part in the work of the National Theatre. Each year up to 100,000 people, from five years of age upwards participate in activities across the country. The aim is to address the audiences of tomorrow, to demystify the process of theatre and to allow access to drama on a national level through youth projects, workshops, work in schools and a nationwide membership scheme.
By touring, the National shares its work with audiences in the UK and abroad.
